About the Postal Shoppe

The Postal Shoppe was founded by Larry and Patty Hinkle, of Rockford, Illinois, in 1998.  Based in the Edgebrook Center off of Alpine Road, the business specializes in packing and shipping boxes, parcels, letters and mail services.  The business also has color and black & white photocopy facilities, fax service, notary public, and mailbox rental facilities.

As the original store grew, the opportunity came to open a second store on Perryville Road in Rockford.  The new Perryville store opened in 2004, and offers all the same facilities as the original store, but with the added advantage of drive-up shipping services.  The Perryville Road Postal Shoppe has also come to specialize in shipping large and unusual items such as furniture, antiques, business equipment, and some of the very odd things sold on eBay!
